Stories like that of Deborah Read Franklin help us to imagine the lives of women in history, better understand their real contributions and a look at obstacles that obscure women’s history.

Join us at 6:30 to discuss Nancy Rubin Stuart’s 2022 book Poor Richard’s Women: Deborah Read Franklin and the other women behind the Founding Father.

At 7:00 we will be joined via Zoom by historian JoAnn Tufo who will share her knowledge and expertise regarding Mrs. Franklin, whom she has researched and portrayed for much of her career. Light refreshments will be served.

*You may opt to attend the Zoom presentation, which begins at 7 p.m., on your own.
