Dear Community Members,
The HVAC equipment on the lower level (program rooms, art gallery) is being replaced starting the week of October 12th.
The project will take approximately 2 months due to the difficult location of the equipment. All outside room bookings are suspended but we are moving forward with regular library programs. We will at times be without heating or cooling so if you are attending a program please dress accordingly based on the weather.
This is the 3rd and final phase of the library’s HVAC overhaul which began in 2023. The new HVAC system is highly energy efficient and runs on 100% clean energy. The system allows for better control over the comfort of the indoor air, including greater introduction of fresh air into the building.
Thank you for your patience and consideration!
