For grades 2nd-5th (children must be 7 years by time of the program) AND an adult. Learn about traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian safety using bicycles and miniature electric vehicles. Meet at Safety Town at the Holtsville Ecology Center at 9:15 am.
We thank Safety Town and the Town of Brookhaven for accommodating us. They do have some requirements.
Children must be at least 7 years old by time of program
Children must wear sneakers and a bicycle helmet to participate
Siblings who are not registered and/or are not the proper age range cannot participate
Parents are expected to stay on site in the foyer, the zoo or the park
Registration for this in-person program opens on July 1 at 9:30 am. Register at the library, online, or by phone at 631-286-0818 x2.
