Any paperwork needed to be signed can be done so Monday to Thursday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Young Adult Desk, unless prior arrangements have been made.
All requests for additional community service projects beyond what is offered must be made at least one week in advance to the YA Librarian. Additional projects are not always available and depend on the library’s needs.
Help us decorate the teen department, eat pizza and let us know what programs and materials you would like to see at the library. Community Service hours awarded. Held every other month from September through June.
The Teen Department will again be creating a vegetable garden outside the Teen Room windows. Join us as we plan, build, plant, and harvest our garden throughout the spring and summer. Community service will be provided.
Children’s Department Summer Reading Kickoff
The Children’s Department needs volunteers to help staff with their annual Summer Reading Club Kickoff party.
Volunteers are needed to clip and sort coupons that will be sent to military families on bases in the United States and abroad. You may earn a maximum of 2 hours of community service once a month. Coupons are available in the YA Department.
Read a new YA Book (fiction, non-fiction, graphic novel, e-book or audiobook). Submit a review to earn a certificate for 1.5 community service hours. You can do a maximum of 3 book review a month. Assist the Young Adult and Reference Department with various projects. Projects are on an as needed basis. Please fill out the application and return to the YA Desk. Volunteer Application
