This approach is a holistic one, uniting body, mind and spirit. It is Meditation in action. The course begins with the standing poses, which bring flexibility to the body and steadiness of mind. The emphasis is on alignment and movement of breath. We will also introduce poses from all of the other classifications such as seated, twist, etc. The course will be primarily for beginners, but those with more experience will find that their understanding of the practice will deepen. Classes are not suitable for those with medical conditions and not appropriate during pregnancy. Please bring a yoga mat, two firm blankets, a belt, and a Yoga block.
